Early morning - Saturday 2nd May

Good morning on this Saturday, 2nd May. Here is my dawn picture. Ahead the clouds now are very black and there is sheet lightening all around. The sea remains calm...the calm before the storm? In the distance we can see islands of land, not sure what they are, perhaps Costa Rica.
As I look out now there are white caps on the sea and there is a wind...how quickly the ocean changes.

I see through the balcony door that we are still being followed by long winged boobies. The ship churns up the fish and they keep diving for their meals, we must be a godsend! Yesterday we watched as a school of dolphins leaped and played beside the ship, they are a joy to see because they are obviously having such a fine time.

Company such as this at sea gives one a feeling of somehow belonging and fitting in to the universe, although the evidence of careless behaviour by humans is too evident everywhere; plastc jugs and bags floating on the surface. We have desecrated the sea world below...there is no doubt we are the most destructive of animals.
